The country PR team love the countryside in bloom, and summer is the perfect time to get out and about whilst the weather is still on your side. So, where do we recommend you go to see beautiful flowers and lovely gardens? Here is a list of our top 6 gardens.

SURREY

The RHS Garden In Surrey is a firm favourite with the Country PR team. The garden is a beautiful place to visit any time of the year, but especially in the summer. There is an amazing variety of plants and stunning themed sections that showcase the flowers with breathtaking results.

Another gem in Surrey, which is only 20 minutes from central London, is Royal Botanic Kew Gardens. These gardens are a beautiful garden to visit all year around. We love how Kew’s mission is to be the global resource for plant and fungal knowledge in their quest towards conservation. Our favourite part of the Kew garden is The Hive. The hive is a unique, multi-sensory experience designed to highlight the extraordinary life of bees. A feat of British engineering, it stands 17 metres tall in a wildflower meadow – just awesome!

LONDON

The Hill Garden And Pergola in Hampstead Heath is a hidden secret that even some Londoners don’t know about! The Pergola garden hosts a walkway filled with vines and exotic flowers to provide amazing views of the heath and London. We love it and it’s free too!

KENT

The Country PR team adores Hever Castle Gardens, the childhood home of Anne Boleyn. These gardens are again a favourite amongst the team because of the amazing maze, Italian garden, rose garden and Tudor garden. The gardens are dog-friendly too, so it really is a wonderful walk for all the family!

CORNWALL

The lost gardens of Heligan are a fantastic place to visit. Lost for decades under weeds, these gardens are now a wonderful place to visit. The garden is rather magical with woodland sculptures of a giant’s head. There is even a rope bridge that hangs across jungle plants; it brings the child out in us too!

EDINBURGH

We love this beautiful city and have also visited the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. This stunning place is set over 70 acres of landscaped garden with a spectacular view overlooking the city, we love the waterfall and rock gardens.
