Go Wild

Don’t wait until the summer months to discover the countryside. This time of year offers the perfect opportunity to try out new walks without the crowds. There are also untapped opportunities to see wildlife which is more active at this time of year and even more visible due to the lack of foliage around. Wrap up warm and explore!

Go Winter Glamping

Glamping is something our Luxury Lifestyle PR Team approves highly of and not just for festivals! We’ve discovered some fantastic Glamping Pods and Yurts in the UK. Many of which are well insulated and contain electric heating and some with hot tubs! Living out in the wild with some home comforts too without the hefty hotel price tag.

Explore A National Trust Garden

The National Trust has a garden near you just waiting to be discovered. Take advantage of this naturally quieter time of year and explore a beautiful outdoor space away from the crowds. We love their list of Top Winter Gardens as a great starting point and inspiration!

Welcome New Visitors

At this time of year, your local wildlife will be struggling to find food, so creating a safe dining area in your garden in full view of your window. You will be giving visiting wildlife a welcome meal, and you’ll also delight from seeing numerous visitors throughout the day. We love our office garden’s multiple bird feeder and squirrel deck, which is busy all year round!

Park Life

If escaping the city is difficult, you can still find solace in your nearest park. Taking a regular leisurely stroll through your local park is good for the soul and an excellent opportunity to see the seasons changing and connect with nature. Going for a run around your local park is also great exercise and running with others is even better! Parkrun organise weekly, free park runs. The perfect opportunity to meet new people and get fit!
