As we embrace the month of Veganuary, we share our tips for going green with our essential guide to January’s vegan month.
Take It At Your Own Pace
Whilst we envy those that fully embrace Veganuary by going entirely vegan for a whole month, we think some might find it overwhelming. Adopting small changes can make a big difference. For example, you might discover new recipes that enable you to go meat-free more often in the future. You might feel like you have more energy or simply fall in love with this new lifestyle. Take steps at your own pace. Remember that everyone has different reasons for going vegan, and some fully embrace veganism more than others. The choice is yours!
If you’re planning to update your wardrobe, consider exploring some vegan-friendly options. Choosing vegan fashion doesn’t mean you have to compromise on luxury or fashion trends. Over the past couple of years, we have seen several gorgeous vegan fashion brands cropping up and staying around. One of our favourite stores is Vegan Outfitters, where you can find everything from sweatshirts to shoes, street style we love. You can’t go wrong with Jill Milan bags for a luxury take on vegan fashion. Made in Italy, they are the bags of dreams! We also love Marei 1998, which is one of our favourite brands for faux fur and fabulousness! For luxury vegan footwear, step out with AERA, a stunning collection made in Italy and certified vegan and 100% sustainable.
Opting for vegan-friendly beauty doesn’t mean you have to ditch luxury! There are some incredible cruelty-free and vegan beauty brands out there. Raw Beauty Lab is a new generation beauty brand that is setting the precedence for natural beauty that cares about its customers and the planet (they even plant a tree for every order of their Vegan Collagen!). Other vegan-friendly and cruelty-free brands that we love include Biossance and Versed‘s skincare ranges. Both of these ethical skincare brands offer fantastic product ranges that are results-driven and good for you and the planet.
