Our MD shares her recent equestrian outings which swap work wear for posh frocks and parties…

Whilst the saying ‘work hard and play hard’ might not have been invented with me in mind (It’s more work hard and go to bed early), I have had my fair share of parties to go to recently and it’s been fantastic!

Recently I attended an event with one of our clients Natasha Baker and whilst Natasha might be used to dressing up (And does so beautifully) These days I am more comfortable in jeans and trainers!

When I was a stylist I dressed many a celebrity for a Red carpet event, so I kind of knew a bit! However dressing yourself can often be harder than dressing other people!  Fortunately the old stylist habits kicked in and it was a matter of grabbing 6 dresses and going for it! It was really good fun to get dressed up to the nines and also sit and chat to Natasha about other stuff as oppose to just work!

I suppose I am also quite lucky in the sense that I also still have a lot of friends in the music and fashion industry, so as well as doing the social thing with my ‘equestrian PR’ hat on, I also get to let my hair down and heels up with the fashion pack occasionally!

I even got to chat horses at a music party with one friend who recently hosted a press event at a polo club, although I seem to recall that the players were also a hot topic of conversation too….

Horses and fashion – the perfect combination!
