Classic Rum Daiquiri

Let’s start with a classic! The Rum Daiquiri. A deliciously simple cocktail that every rum lover will enjoy.  

Ingredients you need:

3 tablespoons light or white rum

2 tablespoons fresh lime juice

1 tablespoon simple syrup

How to make it:

Simply shake with ice, pour it into a chilled cocktail glass and serve with a lime wedge for an elegant rum drink.

Strawberry Daiquiri

We love this fruity twist to the classic rum daiquiri with its sweet, refreshing taste sensation! 

Ingredients you need:

2 ounces light rum

1-ounce simple syrup

1/2 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice

3 to 4 large strawberries, sliced

1 cup ice

Fresh whole or sliced strawberry, for garnish

How to make it:

Add the rum, syrup, lime juice and strawberries into a blender with ice. Blend until smooth. Pour into a cocktail glass, garnish with strawberry slices. Serve and enjoy!

Hot Butter Rum

This is one for those long winter months! This sweet and spicy hot cocktail is perfect as a winter warmer for visiting guests or Christmas cocktails.

Ingredients you need:

2 teaspoons packed brown sugar

1 tablespoon unsalted butter, softened

1 splash pure vanilla extract

1 dash ground cinnamon

1 dash ground nutmeg

1 dash ground allspice

2 ounces dark rum

4 ounces hot water

Cinnamon stick (if you fancy!) for garnish

How to make it:

Pop the sugar, vanilla extract, butter and spices into your Irish coffee glass and mix them well. Pour your rum in and add your hot water. Stir it well and garnish it with a cinnamon stick for a warm and welcoming hot toddy!

Classic Mojito

The joy that this classic rum cocktail brings to us is unmeasurable! They do require a little more effort, but it’s worth the time!

Ingredients you need:

2 teaspoons superfine sugar

6 to 8 fresh mint leaves

2 to 3 ounces club soda, divided, to taste

1 lime

2 ounces light rum

Mint sprig, for garnish

How to make it:

In a tall glass, add the sugar, mint leaves and a splash of club soda. Gentle stir to release the essence of mint. Squeeze the lime juice into the glass and add the rum and stir well. Fill the glass with club soda and ice and garnish with a sprig of mint. Serve with a smile!

Mai Tai

We love this sophisticated cocktail with its combination of dark and white rum and zesty kick!

Ingredients you need:

2 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice

25ml/1fl oz white rum

25ml/1fl oz golden rum

10ml/2 tsp orange liqueur 

10ml/2 tsp almond syrup

1 dash Angostura bitters

Ice

Fresh mint sprig to garnish 

How to make it:

Put all your ingredient except your mint into a cocktail shaker. Make sure it’s filled with ice. Give it a good shake!

Fill a glass with fresh ice and pour the mai tai into the glass using a cocktail strainer or fine mesh strainer. Garnish the drink with the sprig of mint for that elegant finish touch!
