We are delighted to have been commissioned to PR ‘ The Royal County Of Berkshire Show ‘ across the equestrian media alongside their mainstream PR agency again for the third year running and it just goes to show what a successful relationship we have developed with the event’s core PR agency and also highlights the benefits that working with a specialist agency can bring to your portfolio of client work.
Having previously worked as fashion PR, we know how valuable it is to have great relationships with fashion editors and understand the kind of angles they like and their preferred content and way of working, so would the equestrian and country industry be any different?
A great example of this was when a major high street brand attempted to launch an equestrian range, they chose to use their existing mainstream agency to ‘sell’ to the equestrian media.
The terminology, approach and general handling of the launch just wasn’t right and rather than engage with the editors and audience they were trying to reach and impress they turned them off and the result was minimum PR coverage, when actually they could have had the big noise the launch deserved and in doing so also laid the foundations on which to launch a successful global brand.
Having launched numerous major international equestrian brands to UK shores coupled with our MD’s former experience of working with sports brands in her past career, we love the cross-over that we are able to offer and it would seem so do the agencies we work with too!
