With London Fashion Week fast approaching this Friday, it makes our Founder and former fashion stylist Ashley Rossiter reminisce back to her days as a fashion stylist and the chaos and excitement that is fashion week – whether you’re working backstage at the shows or trying to race across London to make it in time for the shows to start!
LFW is an essential part of any fashionista’s diary, showcasing some the industries most exciting talent from emerging geniuses through to established names and with all eyes on our catwalks, Ashley still finds it exciting to see which trends will filter down to the high street and beyond.
We say beyond, because the equestrian and country industry are beginning to echo elements of what we see in mainstream fashion and so we always look forward to BETA (British Equestrian Trade Association) a trade fair, where every year we are starting to see more of what we have seen on the catwalk filtering down into equestrian clothing and horse wear.
From colour trending through to fashion styling and attention to detail on rider clothing, the gap is closing in for ‘Horse couture!’
