In this second blog in our series, our Lifestyle PR Team and our MD Ashley Rossiter, a former fashion and celebrity stylist show you how to create four fantastic looks from one key piece of clothing. In this blog, our luxury PR team have taken the Timothy Foxx Trinity Jacket and show you four ways to wear it this autumn/winter
About The Jacket
The Timothy Foxx Trinity Jacket is a sharp military-inspired jacket. The front of the jacket has a buttoned side fastening which allows the lapel to fold back when the top two buttons are undone. It features an upstanding tweed collar which is lined with soft corduroy and brass looking blazer button detailing. The front is fastened with five blazer buttons and angled button holes, the true functional front jet pockets are edged in corduroy and the bottom of the front slopes away dropping at the back which is a flattering length over the bottom. The sleeve is slightly lengthened to allow the cuff to be folded back with an attractive corduroy cuff with contrasting blazer buttons. It is lined with a pretty baby blue Viscose lining which is edged in navy viscose and contains an inside pocket. There is a classic double vent at the back of the jacket to allow movement and to create a lovely shape with the back waistband detailing as the jacket is shaped to follow your curves without being too tight on the body. RRP: £345 Sizes: 8 – 16
Why We Love This Jacket
The Trinity Jacket is a sharp, tailored jacket with some gorgeous military-inspired detailing. It features luxurious velvet detailing and the gold effect engraved buttons really do give this jacket a regal feel. The cut of the jacket is also extremely flattering to any size or shape.
Look 1: A Day At The Flat Races
Team with an oversized scarf, Fedora, skinny roll neck, these Butler Stewart moleskin jeans and some knee-high leather boots, like these from Yull Shoes www.yull.co.uk (ticking the equestrian and tweed trend). Effortlessly smart and stylish! Don’t be afraid to go oversized with your scarf and opt for something with an equestrian detail or print for a designer look to gallop away with.
Look 2: Afternoon Tea At A Country Retreat
This length of this jacket is perfect for teaming with a dress. Not too long or too short, this jacket complements your figure, even if you choose to partner with a loose, full-length dress. The sharp tailoring looks fantastic softened with pretty, feminine pieces. Our luxury PR team suggest that you pair with nude or pale pink shoes and bag to keep the look ultra-pretty. Keep jewellery delicate and sparkling, like this gorgeous Antler Necklace from La Di Da Interiors.
Look 3: The Music Gig
We think tweed rocks and this look is perfect for a music gig. Add a retro music T-shirt. Cut down the sleeves, roll and sew up. Add lots of lashings of costume jewellery, like these multi strand tassel necklaces from La Di Da Interiors. Skinny fit jeans with distressed detailing and a pair of this seasons’ hottest workmanlike boots (we LOVE these versions from Yull with their bold brass detail)
Look 4: First Day Time Date
Dressing for a first date where you’re likely to end up lunch/cinema and maybe onto drinks early evening can be a challenging wardrobe dilemma! Go for something silk, lace or unbelievable pretty and feminine under this jacket. Pussycat bows on blouses, frills and lace panels add a romantic feel to this jacket. We love the Timothy Foxx Floral Shirt as the perfect layer. High-waisted trousers with a herringbone, pinstripe or go fast sporty stripe down the outside of the leg will make your legs look super long when teamed with a heel. Don’t be afraid to go for a chunky heel or wedge this winter – the thicker the width of heel, the better. These tweed ankle boots from Yull tick all the boxes. Take a classic handbag and wrap a designer silk scarf around the handle to add colour and interest. We love this scarf from BHOID.
