Make January count when it comes to the fun factor. The MirrorMePR Lifestyle Team have come up with their top 5 things to do in London this month, and we think they’ll bring you plenty of joy!
GO GET SOME CARNIVAL VIBES
Instead of sofa surfing this New Year’s Day, head into the London for the London New Year’s Day Parade. This annual event has a carnival feel and plenty of entertainment for all the family, including our clients, All The Queen’s Horses, who will be taking to the streets of the capital with over 60 horse and riders dressed in themed costume. A free day out in London
ANYONE FOR BINGO?
If you thought Bingo was old school, then think new school because it’s seeing a bit of revival with the younger generation. Dabbers Social Bingo the very essence of the game but instead of callers, they have comedians and Mojitos instead of a cuppa. Sounds good to us.
ROCK THE THEATRE
Channel your inner rock chick by booking tickets to see Tina – The Tina Turner Musical. Filled with classic Tina tunes, it chronicles the life of this true rock ‘n’ roll legend. A biographical tale set to music and directed by Mamma Mia’s Phyllida Lloyd, it’s bound to take you on an emotional rollercosta you won’t want to get off.
ICE SKATING WITH AN EPIC BACKDROP
Ice-skating in Canary Wharf anyone? The perfect way to have fun in January and still feel a bit Christmassy. Show off your Torvill and Dean skills or soak up the magical atmosphere in the ringside bar. Open until 16th February, so there’s always Valentine’s Day option if you can’t make it in January.
ALL OF THE LIGHTS
If ice-skating isn’t your thing, how about Winter Lights at Canary Wharf, this collection of light installations and interactive art offers something different for a spectacular evening out. Finishes on Saturday 26th January.
