While going on holiday with your horse may not be possible (or even conceivable!) thanks to your long-suffering non-horsey other half, you can still bring some equestrian flair to your holidays! In our experience, the next best thing to having your horse with you is packing some equestrian inspired pieces for your holiday wardrobe. So with that in mind, we’ve discovered these great equestrian holiday style finds, to help your love of horses carry over into your summer holidays this year…
First off, we really love anything from Ralph Lauren. Such easy-to-wear equestrian holiday style pieces, and we would make sure to buy it a couple of sizes bigger so that we could get even more wear from it by wearing one of their shirts as a cover up over our swimwear. Navy is a really flattering shade on most skin tones and any hint of equestrian inspired pattern just rocks. It would also look great tied at the front, worn with a vest, high waisted washed denim shorts, ankle boots and finished with a Fedora hat and oversized shades!
We love Sylvia Kerr Jewellery and we absolutely love this bracelet. Subtle and gorgeous, it’s the perfect statement piece to go with pretty much any outfit, whether you’re dressing for the day or night.
For a bit of fun, these flipflops are brilliant for the beach – and manage to be both tongue in cheek and practical (a double bonus)! If, however, you would prefer your footwear to be a bit more grown-up and gorgeous, leather sandals, with their nod towards equestrian chic, would be our dream holiday footwear.
Finally, we love tote bags for the beach, or even as a day bag for a city break. They’re big enough to carry around everything you need, and they’re so versatile that you could get good use out of them when you’re back home too.
