Soooo exciting to see so many fashion and designer brands taking inspiration from equestrian clothing for the Fall 2014/2015 season.
From Alexander McQueen’s ad campaign, which features a stunning black horse, through to Massimo Dutti’s stunning equestrian-inspired A/W 2014 collection (which proves that men can look hot in equestrian clothing too!), it seems that horses are “hot to trot” for this coming winter!
The cross over from equestrian to catwalk has already been picked up by www.net-a-porter.com, who have included a new sportswear division in their online store, covering gym, surf, tennis, golf and equestrian wear. There are also some gorgeous equestrian inspired fashion pieces from House Of Holland, Gucci and Stella McCartney nestling amongst the pure equestrian labels – although I think they are missing a trick there in terms of the equestrian brands they are carrying. Perhaps their head buyer might want to give us a shout and we can use our equestrian PR knowledge to point them in the right direction?!
